Our Mission

Reporters Sans Frontières defends journalists imprisoned or persecuted for doing their job and exposes the mistreatment and torture of them in many countries. We give financial aid each year to journalists or media outlets in difficulty (to pay for lawyers, medical care and equipment) as well to the families of imprisoned journalists. In addition, our founder Lili Samii has been working closely with RSF for over a year now. Amidst this global pandemic, freedom of the press has been suppressed by countries such as Iran and China -- in the efforts to cover the numbers of those infected and those who died. SFLF arose to combat these injustices, and raise awareness for the global need for a free independent press.

What We’ve Achieved

• Raised over $800 for Reporters San Frontières.

• Had a phone call with the ex-Executive Director of the USA branch Dohki Fassihian.

• Founder Lili Samii has been working with Reporters San Frontières for over a year now.

• Reviewed and published freedom of the press violations via Instagram.

• Extended our mission into middle school classrooms.
